The EWO 482 series of filter water separators uses cyclonic vortex technology to separate moisture entrained in the air BEFORE it enters the filter element. Unlike conventional air dryers, the EWO unit uses no refrigerants or dessicants and does not require a power source. Properly equipped with an automatic drain, the unit is virtually maintenance free, requiring only periodic filter element changes.
